The female condom

The female condom, also called an internal condom, is a birth control (contraceptive) device that acts as a barrier that prevents sperm from entering the uterus. Protects against pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

The female condom is like a soft, loose bag, with a ring at each end. One of the rings is inserted into the vagina to keep the condom in place. The ring at the open end of the female condom fits outside the vagina. The outer ring holds the condom in place and is used to remove it. The female condom can also be used during anal sex.

Among other benefits, the female condom has the following characteristics:
• It is effective immediately
• Offers protection against sexually transmitted infections
• It is sold without a prescription and does not require a special adjustment
• Can be put in up to eight hours before having sex
• Rarely causes allergic reactions, and has minimal risks of side effects
• It does not require the collaboration of the partner or that the penis be erect, as the male condom does.

Unlike latex, the material used to make most male condoms, female condoms are made from polyurethane and synthetic latex, which is safe for people allergic to natural rubber latex. Female condoms are not affected by humidity or changes in temperature. Also, some women find that the outer ring of the female condom stimulates the clitoris.

It is a fairly effective antioconceptive method designed for female satisfaction that allows you to enjoy the sexual act with greater freedom and safety.
